With nearly 25 years of hands on experience in the Operating Room, and the past 12 as a Surgical First Assistant, I provide personalized consulting for Surgical Residents, Medical Students and PA students entering their Internship years or OR rotations. I focus on bridging the gap between classroom and academic knowledge and real-world practice by teaching the fundamentals of the OR environment, including protocols, workflow, etiquette and professional expectations. The basic course will cover practical skills such as types of pre-op scrubbing, gowning and gloving, sterile fields and techniques, to name a few.
